Beautiful! Free parking right be the entrance. Lots of wide open space for kids and dogs to run around and adults to run after them. Lovely woods and lots of different paths to venture along. Picnic benches are dotted around. Overall the core of the park is nice and compact but you can leave it at different ends to keep walking along public footpaths. It was a bit muddy when we went, much to the joy or my little one.
This is a great place if your dog is sociable. However, when they go into empty the dog bins,they do not close the gates. The dogs can escape onto the roads. When I complained to the newent council about the safety issue, I was told that they never said it's safe. I also encountered some not very pleasant dogs whilst walking there. It's pretty, and the paths are good. Short on parking though. I would not highly recommend it. It's OK.
This is a great place to walk, especially with your dog if your dog likes to socialise with other dogs.
Great place to walk your dog. Small enclosed wooded area safe for off lead exercise, then head out along the many footpaths around the area for some lovely scenic long walks. There is a small free car park, enough for about half a dozen cars.
A lovely brisk walk in the winter. So happy this didn’t beclme a concert ground like one of the plans were. Just shows how you can enjoy what they call the great outdoors.
