Came about this place randomly, I saw Fish & Chips on Google Maps while on way home from a day out and I was starving! This place has Amazing Chips aswell as a massive menu of other things, Fish, Pies, Pasties, Pizza and more with Box Set Meals too, It also has a shop stocked with all your convenience need stocked high from bog roll, milk, bread, to beer, There is also a small bar at the back and a small restaurant at the front.
My new favourite chip shop, perfectly cooked and tasty. I had fish fingers and chips good value for money large seating area inside and benches outside large car and lorry parking spaces convenience store onsite to
I enjoy it when I need a break and stop my lorry near this chippy. I think they used to cook the fish to order which meant a little wait and a really nice fish but recently when I went the fish was kept warm in the cabinet so it was more like chicken than fish. Great range of food here too. Pizzas and kebabs. Plus, a convenience store with sweets, chocolate and useful items. Parking: Quite a few HGV parking spots on site and a layby outside
The food is amazing but the speed can be sluggish and the atmosphere leaves alot to be desired. I feel it has lost it homely feel for truckers and motorists and having been coming to this place well before these owners had it can see a massive difference from when they started and now. A shame as it just feels like chip shop and not somewhere to sit and eat anymore.

Stopped week b4 Christmas had a takeaway fish & chips with a side of fried chicken eat on the go, then I saw the chicken, mouldy chicken
Nice little chippy can eat in or take out order on line it’s a truck stop to u can pay on snap or £18 cash little shop in there to only basic stuff nice little place can’t fault it
Went today in my truck got chips and 4 fish fingers and a brew . Chips warm and starting to wrinkle, fish fingers soaked in fat and fish like water . Asked me twice if I wanted sugar in my tea . Obviously deaf coz put sugar in it . Will drive past nxt time an go midway truck stop
Very good fish and chips, quick service and very reasonably priced. We stopped here en route from North Wales to Birmingham. It was perfect for a pit stop as we didn't wait long for food. Both the chips and fish were very good, even late on a Friday. I have saved it as a favourite place on Google Maps now and will stop by if we're passing again!
What a little gem this is! A great place to stop for something to eat with toilets available at the entrance for those who need a quick stop. There is a shop, takeaway and restaurant. The food is cooked fresh and very tasty! It's also very reasonably priced. There is a selection of pizzas, fish and chips, burgers, kebabs and more! This is also a truck stop with plenty of room for both cars and lorries to park. Staff were amazing.
