This was my second visit to the Newcastle Arms Hotel, and I couldn't have been more pleased--the reason I returned! The hospitality and the accomodations including the first rate breakfast are neck in neck for top honors--I will call it a draw. Robin, Peter, Julie, and everyone else made me feel welcome and at home. If you are looking for a great place to stay when you visit Coldstream, your search should stop right here!
When we arrived, welcomed by the owners made feel at ease. Excellent service. 110% Food was excellent and Dan our dog was a treated like a king, nothing was to much trouble for them. Had 4 nights here nice big room at the front of the hotel thought it might have been a bit noisy but it was fine .Comfy bed and the room was cleaned everyday. The staff were friendly. Breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. Friendly locals always up for a natterRooms: 5/5
The bar area can be a bit loud at times, but the management and staff are friendly, the room’s have had a upgrade in the last couple of years , the breakfast is excellent , The outside area at the rear is great when the Sun is shining , ‍
Went for a meal as we visited Coldstream weekend 6th August 22. enjoyed our meal staff were friendly , But recieved a parking fine today for parking out the back Sign said for customers. Just a suggestion maybe put on your menus about the car park or the staff could mention it to customers

Had a lovely stay here during the bank holiday weekend. The hotel team are very welcoming and our room was comfortable and cleaned daily. The included breakfast was fantastic! Overall, extremely good value for money. Coldstream is a lovely village surrounded by beautiful scenery that is perfect for walking. It also has a decent shop right on the doorstep and is a short drive from many other places of interest that make great day trips!

We where booked to stay sat night 2 twin rooms. When we arrived the lads where informed that there was no booking upon conversation with the owerner he reremembered the conversation regarding us playing golf at dunns on sat and the telephone conversation we had that we where playing hirsel on Sunday. We waited around for 30min only to be told he had no rooms for us .you can imagine how I felt as I was in charge to book accommodation. Well never again and I pass this to all friends who like to have a weekend away playing golf.
Everything was fine with my stay the room was very spacious and bright bathroom large with a decent shower left to early for breakfast but had some cereal and dinning room looked okayRooms: 4/5
