Beautiful,  remote beach with few facilities. Unfortunately the much advertised seals must have been on holiday today. Not one to be seen anywhere. Instead hundreds of  seabirds had decided to move into the deserted real estate.

If you want a peaceful truely Scottish experience then look no further. This is a beach close enough to Aberdeen to travel to from the city. It’s renowned for its nature including local birds and a huge seal population. Such a special place to come. Has good access to a car park, local golf course and a pub. Perfect for walking dogs, having picnics, walking and watching nature.

Definitely will come again, my luck they were chilling out in the sun during this cold weather

Loved it was a windy wet day but still great

Very nice sand beach and dunes and a seal colony just opposite the beach. Seal playing around and hunting in the small channel - highly recommanded
