Ideal for smaller organised events up to 150 people, such as business meetings or weddings where participation is important. We went to a 3 day wedding there. Beautiful setting.
Great place to visit if you are doing up your house. Literally so much to see! Make sure you have a good 3/5 hours as you will need it! Stall holders all seemed so friendly too.
Paid the increased entrance fee of £6.00 each at 10.00 am, only to find less than half the traders that are usually there and some were already packing up. This antiques fair is advertised as being open until 16.00, I'd be surprised if there were any stalls beyond lunch time. Very disappointed, please update your opening times and number of stalls to a more realistic expectation.
Got what i wanted , if you got something in mind you,ll find it.
Charged £6 although website said £5. Many stalls had already left and lots were packing up. Very disappointing
Had a great day out! Got loads of great items and most traders willing to do a deal! We will be back with even more money to spend next month.
Fantasic place.
Lots of stalls but do take into consideration that on the public day a fair few stall pack up at midday rather than stay until 4pm. Free parking and if you buy your tickets in advance it is normally cheaper.
They used to have a bus waiting to meet each train at the Newark/Northgate train station to get those of us without autos to the fairgrounds and a similar bus when you left the fair for the train station. NO MORE! There are no taxis waiting, and people were waiting about the station for taxis they did call which did not arrive. I would hope the management would consider re-instituting the bus service even if they want to charge us for it -would make the Newark experience much more positive.
Great day overall but not as many sellers as during the summer months. Also a bit disappointing to see quite a lot of stall holders packing up before midday
