Went with my 4 month and 4 yr old. Was ok for the 4 yr old but don’t bring a baby here. Water wasn’t the warmest but fine for my child. I took my baby out after 20/30 mins. Then attempted the awful dribble of a shower. It would start freezing then a surge of hot water that hurt myself. I had to wrap my baby in a muslin cloth and pour water over her to get chlorine off while they cried. The changing rooms are FREEZING. Even for an adult. I had both kids crying and lips were blue it was that cold. The bins were overflowing and filthy, rubbish was on the floor. We’d paid £40 for a family trip surely they can afford heating!
I had a disappointing experience at the gym due to poor management. I waited for 20 minutes at the cable machine while a group of kids occupied it, despite asking them to swap. After approaching the manager multiple times, he promised to address the situation but ultimately did nothing. When I requested compensation for the inconvenience, he refused to help. It's frustrating to see such a lack of care for client satisfaction. I hope they improve their management in the future.
Good place to bring the kids friendly staff and helpful cleanliness is OK but the showers and toilets are dated along with the floors
This company makes public safety a complete joke. The centre at Whittlesey is managed by incompetent staff who do not comprehend public safety in any way and this is carried on by the senior manager and area manager. To cut a long story short, at the start of Covid it was reported to the staff here that a large 20 foot long by 18 inch deep piece of rusted metal guttering had fallen from the building during a windy spell of weather, into an area where kids play, people walk their dogs etc etc. Despite numerous occasions of being told, this metal laid on the floor for over two years. Sharp metal edges and rusting away. Subsequently, they were told again and again about other sections of this guttering rotting away and near to falling. THEY DID NOTHING. Another piece fell and again they were told...to which, the centre manager said he knew about it....again, falling into a walked area by lots of people. And to make it worse, he just left it there...sharp rusty pieces of metal all over. It has been constantly raised with them and they do nothing. The centre manager even claimed he got onto the roof to make sure the metal was secure... when asked how he got up there...SILENCE. This company are a joke and have a complete disregard for public safety. They have made many claims about being repaired and getting contractors but nothing is done. There are still several areas of this metal guttering that are loose and still, they come up with excuse after excuse. If one of these large sections comes down and hits someone, it will at best cause severe injury and at worst, decapitate them. A total disregard for public safety and they seem to have no care in the world about the possible outcome. If they have this lackadaisical attitude to Health and Safety for the public outside the building which they are responsible for, how bad are they inside the building.
Swimming pool was dirty at the bottom. Womens changing room showers are a dribble down the wall. One was broken. Some changing room doors didn't work. Won't be coming back
