Food is delicious with many options, and portion sizes are good! Very reasonably priced. Polite and friendly staff with good customer service. Keep up the good work!Food: 5/5
The best Caribbean fusion in the city. There’s a reason there is always a queue outside it goes quick due to the efficiency of the amazing staff inside. We make regular trips from East London to this as the food is that good! If you’re a seafood lover this is your new takeout spot.
Can’t lie wasn’t even hungry but I just saw the shop packed out with car pulling up every 2 minutes. FOMO senses started kicking in so couldn’t help but go into see what the fuss was all about. Boy was I glad I did, shop looks immaculate, food looks clean and fresh obviously not clean as in diet wise but very flavourful. Would be hitting up again. Kind staff too. They don’t call you by sir or excuse me but by ‘baby’. Sweet vibes.
Detailed review: Visited this store approx at 11.45am I was the only person on the store at the time... minutes after customers came pouring in thick and fast . WOW ...First of all I was overwhelmed by the vast amount of choice! I was like a kid in a candy store! Didn't know where to look or what to choose! Eveything looked so...delectable... had to tell the ladies to give me some more time as I was literally stunned... I've never visited a carribean takeaway so inviting..well stocked , clean, tempting and with such inviting staff ! I was in heaven! I opted for stew chicken with white rice and sweet chilli wings on the side. The stew chicken was outstanding - well seasoned and perfectly cooked, the veg steamed cabbage was fresh and crisp - just how I like it, the wings were tender and bursting with flavour although left one wing untouched because it was too bruised for my liking, but thats me being extra picky . I observed that the salmon rice was popular and a friend confirmed that it was her 'go-to' dish so will be trying this next time. The prices are super reasonable, staff were accompanying and the food is well packed. I think I paid £6.50 for the container pictured and few pounds more for the side of wings which was more than satisfying. Based on my first-time visit I would thoroughly recommend.
New things is a good name because it was a new experience than going to the standard Caribbean shop. Everyone was friendly, the food looked and tasted amazing and the service was first class!
We went here today and the food is fire!!! Would definitely recommend the pepper steak and the fish bites!! The juices are also really nice lemonade or pineapple cucumber. The staff are polite and respectful. We demolished our food and will definitely be back again. This time I will get a take away for the next day too!! Thank you
I can't share photos as food was quite quickly demolished. Very lovely fusion flavors. Very impressed by the King prawns rice, and curry goat in particular. Also the salmon was fresh and tasty with very good portions. The macaroni cheese was very cheesy so if a fan must grab a portion. Wish portions were bigger! Would be back for sure!
The food was beautiful with loads of options. The staff are friendly and polite. Good portion size and reasonably priced. I definitely will be coming back
One of the best Caribbean takeaways in Brixton - always busy with a good selection of dishes and well priced. Only complaint is the frowsy attitude of certain staff members who bypass waiting customers to serve friends or love interests.Food: 5/5
My favourite Caribbean restaurant. The food you can get on a budget but but first class food. This CHIEF EXECUTIVE in creating MENU. I would love this restaurant to be know more in exposure in publicity of nationwide. This CHIEF NEED TO BE INTERVIEW AND PUT TO THE NATION. Vegetarian options: Every person can have a meal there but VEGETARIAN YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM. Kid-friendliness: Oh my God the children have so much to choose from go and see what I am talking about. Check it out.
