Fairly standard railway station. It has regular services across North and West Yorkshire, including York, Leeds and Bradford, with some services going as far as Chester and Blackpool. There are good waiting shelters on both platforms, although there isn't much else. Very easy to walk to Asda from here, although the footpath leading to it could be better signposted.
Small station, station huts will only be open at 5:50 am. Station have a large parking and a Amazon locker situated next to its entrance. No wifi
Up until a week ago I used to commute from this station to Leeds on a morning. The station it's self is great. The staff are helpful and the facilities do their job. There is a bike rack, outside ticket machine for when the ticket office is closed. They also have shelters up they are only open in the day time. It gets extremely busy in a morning. It's not uncommon for you to not be able to board a train because it's too busy. That's not the stations fault but the service provider. There is alot of parking as they recently extended the car park and pickup area.
Decent station has most amenities modern stations have such as waiting rooms, bins and ramps for ease of access, located about a 5-10 min walk from ASDA and the Owlcoats shopping centre.
Small station, very clean with shelter available on both platforms. Good ramp access to both platforms as well as a bit of a stairs shortcut into the car park if you are coming from Leeds
Most useless and uncaring member of staff I’ve encountered in years. My phone died during the journey and after waiting for a member of staff explained the situation. He pointed out phone numbers of local taxi firms. I repeated that my phone was dead. He stated that there was a shopping centre 15 mins walk away that I could maybe find a taxi. Shocked, I asked directly “there are no pay phones, you don’t have a mobile or no way of contacting the outside world here?’ [a mobile phone on charge was within view] Nope. I thanked him for his help and wished him the best What rude and uncaring staff. I hope he’s never stuck, needing a second of help and meeting someone so unbothered in his life.
I spotted a Class 195 before entering the station today.
Nice big car park at Train station
Standard station - Just about what you'd expect for a small station, has easy access to both Leeds and Bradford which is good- Awfully situated though! No help at all to the people of Pudsey, so far out of the way I don't even know why it references Pudsey in it's name! I just always get buses instead when I need to use public transport.
It is a small station, trains every 15-30 mins into leeds. One ticket machine, and a ticket desk. Can get pretty busy in the morning rush, so make sure to get there in time to buy a ticket and not miss your trian.
