Excellent pub, excellent beers and great food. No loud stereo music or games machines but still usually a "good times" level of volume from the customers and occasionally someone tinkling on the piano for a bit of a sing along. In other words.... a Proper Pub!

Really welcoming, friendly local pub that welcomed me, my parents and their dog. It was a wonderful surprise. Well worth a visit (despite a very limited menu). We will definitely go again.

Absolutely delightful sunday roast for 13 people. All served at the time and delicious food. Top work though Slightly chilly !
