This park is beautiful and pristine, it is good place for a long walk. There were lots of friendly local families, couples and dog walkers getting their steps in! Will definitely be revisiting and exploring further
This is my favourite local place. It covers 198 acres of green belt countryside, through Pype Hayes, Walmley, Wylde Green and Sutton Coldfield. It is an important nature reserve consisting of historic wetland grazing meadows, Plants Brook stream and a number of listed buildings, including the first moated house built in England and a fully functioning water mill. Plenty of well kept paths to enjoy and lots of nature to see. Been visiting here for many years but 2020 is the first year, I have been able to see the fish so clearly, swimming in the brook. Wonderful
Only down side is there's no toilet facilities. Great for dogs. Good paths and plenty of exploring for the kids.
Nice space with your children and dogs.. Great walk plenty space for distancing with nice view, board walks, river.. Tree to climb
Saffy loves to play across the field, run through the long grass and cool off in the stream! Great place for dog walking!!
I was here today with my Mrs and two kids. My kids enjoyed everything about it, the streams, canals, wooden paths and the wildeness of it all. They kept asking whether I was enjoying too. My answer was affirmative, but I enjoy much more on the second, third visits because I get to explore it in full. Don't miss this great walking in wonderful and well maintained park. Well done to the amazing work the volunteers do to this park.
Lovely outdoor space, paths for walking or cycling. Dog loves to paddle Extra parking places but no toilets
Lovely friends place we went here bike riding and my girls are silly scared of dogs and all the dog walkers where so understanding and friendly. Love it here
Enjoyable walk. The path is part of the cycle network and also popular with dog walkers.
It's lovely to walk through, we do about 2 miles. Like to see the heron occasionally and seen ducks with babies twice.
