Waited 1hr 20mins for food, it arrived cold and greasy. Absolutely no flavour to the food, everything bland and very little spice, Bombay potatoes and aloo sag soggy and mushy and watery, even the rice was awful, I couldn’t even rip the Nan bread apart it was that tough. everything went into the bin, complete waste of money… never again will I order from this restaurant. I had to give a 1 star rating in order to post my comments otherwise it would have been 0 stars
Went for an unexpected sit down meal. Wow, perfect food. I had to add more salt to my food nothing new there but I would rather add my own salt. Perfect size portions. Good service and very friendly. We didn't realise that you had to take your own alcohol, but it's fine there is an off-licence a couple of shops down, it just makes the meal even cheaper as we paid £6.99 for a bottle of wine rather than £15-20. So win win. £50 for a meal for two, including starters, poppadoms,sides and a tip
Excellent food but was shocked to find out the restaurant has a zero hygiene score !!! Will avoid big time because of this unfortunately!! Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice
Waited 80minutes only to get food that was cold, and completely crumpled and crushed. Sauced everywhere. They blamed the deliver driver, as if that explains why the food took 80 minutes and was cold… awful customer service
Only a Bring ur own wine and beer place which we did not know but great southern Indian curries to have and not bad prices
Absolutely spectacular curry! The sauces that came with the pappadams were super delicious and the naan was perfectly airy and chewy. Polite and fast service too. Highly recommend!
Still waiting, it's been over 2 hours for my takeaway and hasn't arrived.. Will never order from this place again, told me would be an hour... Update: curry finally came after 2 hours and 40 minutes, agree with the lady below not only was the onion bhaji like cardboard it also had a 9 inch hair init!!!! Never again
Had a delivery. The onion bajees were like cardboard. They must be days,old. Curry was tasteless. The yoghurt sauce was watery. Disgusting. Stag paneer, I cook better myself. Garlic nan did not taste of garlic. Won't be ordering again.
I had the most delicious curry that I have had in many years. I will definitely be using the New Fort Raj from now on, I usually find chicken to have a funny texture and taste in other restaurants but here the chicken was cooked absolutely perfect, the flavours of the sauce were just incredible. I ordered the chilli garlic tandoori chicken and it was absolutely divine . I also really appreciated the complimentary side of fresh salad. I enjoyed this meal so much that I had to call the restaurant back up to offer my compliments to the chef. Absolutely fabulous. I am very fussy and hard to please when it comes to food and I enjoyed the meal from this restaurant thoroughly. Highly recommend.
Order tandoori mixed grill naan bread well done with butter onion bhaji and a lamb curry worst Indian have ever went to
