Genuinely the best Chinese take-away in the UK I've tried many. Great portions, fresh ingredients and friendly service. I now live in the South of England, but when I come back North to see family, I always come to New Claremont. The house special fried rice is the finest I've ever had with good sized prawns, nice meat portions and tasty sauce.

Quality every single time. You just have to consider how busy they get to understand the consistency of their food.

Everyone is entitled to have their favourites but imho and having tried most local Chinese takeaways this place is significantly ahead of the rest. The quality of the meat especially stands out compared to local rivals . Very busy which upsets some I know.  but also

thank you for a lovely meal 1/4 duck and recomendation with garlic sauce my god i am full so is my husband the food here is excellent and so quick delivery red hot food and thank you to the driver amazing service  i cried when i could not get my order last week as the phones were engaged all the time thanks again keep up the good work xx
