Delicious fish and chips. We went for the medium and it was perfect! Fish was fresh, crispy batter and the best chippy chips I've ever had. Was quite busy when we arrived Friday night! We were greeted with very friendly service and our fish and chips much quicker than expected! Could not really ask for more. Thank you Nettles!
Great little find while we were staying in Mullion Cove. Definitely worth the drive. Beautiful cod, lovely batter and really tasty, crunchy chips!
Don’t bother going elsewhere. If you don’t mind a short wait and you shouldn’t because it’s all cooked fresh to order then this is the best in Helston. Great service and polite staff, with very generous sized food portions, we ordered medium size and tbh the amount was generous, don’t upset the staff though as they have a large collection of Daleks in the house to exterminate/deep fry you on command ! We will return here when we are down in Helston.
Delicious fish and chips!! We had medium cod, haddock and medium chips. Not greasy and well cooked, we thought the portions were very generous! We've tried a few fish and chip shops in surrounding areas and this is definitely the best. Thank you!

Me and my partner are pescatarian and so we for specifically asked for one portion of scampi alongside the usual fish and chips. However instead of scampi we realised we were given chicken after having eaten a whole piece. On top of that, what we thought was scampi was actually chicken, the chicken was dry and hard. The food was beyond greasy too. By the time we had realised the shop was closed. Absolutely appalling. As a response to your response, I understand mistakes happen but you made a big mistake. The shop was not busy at the time we came. Your excuse is not good enough. Mistake made or not, the food was very mediocre and yes it was greasy, I wouldn’t have stated my opinion on it had the mistake not been made. But I’ve been given a reason to. Thanks.

Best Fish n Chip shop in Helston and around SW Cornwall, eat in their restaurant or take away, clean friendly plaice! Food is great and freshly prepared, highly recommend! Note! *** Restaurant now closed unfortunately .! Best option is to phone your order in advance...!
