I normally only come here when I've got visitors, but the sea was so rough today that I had to come and see it. There's not much here apart from the compass wheel on the floor, although that is very interesting on its own. But the best thing is the 180⁰ view of the sea, stretching to the edge of the world. And the sea crashing on the rocks was a very welcome added bonus.
The futhermost East point in the UK. Nothing much to do here except click a few pics.nAmple parking.
It's tucked away behind an industrial estate. Nothing there but the sea. Nice to say you've been to the most eastern part of the uk. Apart from that, keep on moving on towards some where else way more interesting.
Sadly there was a rain band moving through, so didn’t see the sun rise above the sea line and it was cold! Very pretty though and cool to have seen the sun rise at the UK’s most easterly point.
It was very quiet and empty when I came here, which was good as it gave me the opportunity to make as much photos as I wanted. It is almost my first time at an extreme point of the UK.nnI liked the compass points on the ground which told you exactly how far away some cities of the world were.
