Absolutely beautiful place to visit. The gardens are truly gorgeous. There's plenty to see, rickery areas, winding paths, steps and lakes and a waterfall. Theres so many benches at very regular intervals for those who might struggle with walking for too long. In elevated areas, you can see the Dee Estuary and Wales beyond through the trees making for some fabulous photos! The restaurant, situated just as you enter, serves very good, tasty food and there's a little gift shop and nursery to buy plants and pots as well. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and I will definitely be going again!
Very friendly staff. Lovely location. The gardens are amazing and there's plenty of paths accessible to all. Food wise coffee is lovely and cakes went down a treat. We haven't tried the food yet but it's an excuse to come back. Well worth a day outVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Best garden I have ever experienced. It's well maintained with a lot of plants to study. This will be a perfect place for a peaceful afternoon. Check the weather though, if it's raining the pavement will get muggy.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great gardens, beautiful place experience was amazing me and family come here often. Downside I am a student for LJMU and the staff wanted to see my student ID now I don’t carry this all the time and this was a last minute trip. I showed the staff my log in account at my uni and my transcript to show I am in second year and they where having none of it talk about hold up everyone not easy when you have a 3 year old. I think the staff should have used a little more common sense in the situation over a couple of quid made our last experience not great!! So a word of caution the desk staff can be a little anti social and have no commons sense !!!
Beautiful day out. Found it great for our baby daughter, it was a great sensory experience for her seeing all the colourful plants and being out in nature. Well priced and friendly staff. Bonus that they give a free drink to breastfeeding mums! Thank you.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

If you want to connect to nature and enjoy a day in the outdoors Ness Gardens is fantastic. Stroll through the gardens for hours and bask in the sun or relax in the shade. Lots to see and do! The cafe does a great afternoon tea. There is also gift shop and small garden centre where you can buy plants. Parking is free and right outside the visitors centre. Entrance fee was £7.50 each. We always pay at the till in the visitor centre but you can book online. This option also allows to gift aid £0.75 to the gardens. No dogs allowed.
A beautiful & peaceful garden, with lovely walks and spectacular views to enjoy the day. The best months for visit is June & July, we visited in Mid August and the flowers were nearly almost withered. By the way, there are entrance tickets to be bought, £8.5 per adult, £21.5 for a family of five.
