Splendid fish and chips. Good portions, the fish were cooked beautifully, and the chips were surprisingly good too. There is a decent kids menu too, and considering the number of families having dinner around 1700, clearly a popular place. Perhaps a bit pricey, I suppose F&C by the seaside comes with a premium :
Amazing food and perfect location at seahouses. We tried haddock fish & chips, scampi , chicken burger & veg burger. Chicken burger was okay but rest all food was absolutely delicious. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can enjoy hot food after visiting boat ride to Farne Island. Wonderful experience!!!
Ate here when visiting Seahouses. Fish and chips dinner we had with bread and butter and pots of tea were utterly delicious, the table service by staff was fantastic, really friendly, polite and helpful. There's also a disabled friendly entrance too as well as main entrance which helped us choosing to dine here. Spotlessly clean, toilets were spotlessly clean too. Couldn't recommend this place, Neptune Fish Restaurant, highly enough. Absolutely lovely experience that added to a great time in Seahouses. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible for disabled customers, an accessible ramp in to the restaurant.
Nice little place, Scampi, cod and kids chicken nuggets were all delicious. My son said the hot chocolate was really nice. Staff were all very welcoming and efficient. My only complaint is the chips weren't as nice as I'd hoped. But that my be the time of year. I've not had great potatoes/chips anywhere recently. Kid-friendliness: Lots of children's options on the menu Parking: Parking very close by. 1 car park directly across the road and another a short walk towards the harbour. Wheelchair accessibility: One wheelchair user came in when we were there and was able to come in via the rear entrance which is used for wheelchair users. The cafe can get quite busy and space is restricted so I'm not sure how many wheelchair users can be accommodated. Staff are very helpful though and will do their best I'm sure. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is catered for
We visited here today and ordered the Light bite special- battered cod with chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a drink. It was gorgeous, and at £11.50, a bargain. I'd visit again. The staff were also incredibly friendly thank you!
Messaged Neptune's to ask if their chips were vegan, cooked separately in oil...they replied back immediately and said yes as were the mushy peas. I visited today for lunch with my husband and the chips and mushy peas were bang on delicious. Service was excellent too really friendly. Would definitely revisit.
Fantastic Fish and Chips. Perfectly cooked selection of Cod, Haddock, Plaice and other options. Non greasy with amazing taste. Apart from being one of the best Fish and Chips in the area,the staff are really excellent. They are attentive will accommodate to requests. I don't often give out 5 stars but this place highly deserves it. So if in doubt where to eat try this restaurant as it won't disappoint. Bread and butter served as standard. Fair prices on their menu.
Fish and chips was great, served hot and large potions. The service was very quick - just 6 mins for two adults meals and three children meals. Definitely recommend.
Neptune Fish Restaurant does some great fish and chips. We ate in late in the day and had freshly cooked sausage fish and chips. We were welcomed and well looked after by the helpful friendly staff. If you're looking for great fish and chips by the seaside then Neptune Fish Restaurant is well worth a visit.
Neptunes is fantastic. We were a party of 6 with a wheelchair user and it didn't phase the staff at all, they were so very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, the fish is massive, even the lite bite is as big as most fish and chip shops normal offering. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
