Obnoxious, insensitive, arrogant and ignorant. Never had an issue here before despite knowing about the reputation but after what I've just been forced to experience even one star is flattering. Perhaps they need to push the reset button. Arrived at 18.20 to collect a prescription.. informed dispenser of my details and that I was collecting two from doctors in same building with a desk 30 feet away. I am disabled and not very mobile, add to that have been in an obscene amount of nerve pain since the weekend due to a mix up already.. Doctors receptionist informed me prescription had not been signed so rushed off for signatures. 18.29 I leave doctors receptionist watched by chemist dispenser.. was handed prescription 1 as soon as I stepped foot in chemist saying "we close at 18:30" so can't take them. Despite me saying it is 18:30 and that he watched me struggle across I was met with "nothing I can do but Asda is still open" On way out I rightly or wrongly thanked them sarcastically and loudly as I was watched leaving at 18:30.. one of the behind the screen staff found it amusing that a disabled person was leaving them distressed and in severe pain knowing they were in the wrong and legally still open. When confronted he smirked again before hiding behind what I can only assume was an equally obnoxious owner that saw nothing, hiding behind then defending a pair of obnoxious and discriminatory employees.
Lots of negative comments on here! Yes, this is a busy pharmacy, all day, everyday because they serve a large community. Every time I use the pharmacy I have always been treated with respect and served as promptly as possible. They’re only human for goodness sake! Have a little patience for people in an underfunded, busy and demanding environment!
Terrible, came in at 1550hrs for a prescription. Still waiting 30 mins later. The pharmacist takes the busiest time of the day to do a consultation. He is unaware of the queue building up and staff are too scared to knock his door and move him on abit. This is one of the worst in Caerphilly. If you have an opportunity to go elsewhere i would say that you do so. Now I have to go get other children who will pay my fuel charges. Bloody ridiculous
Always packed. Takes ages to get served. Never get all my meds after ordering online 2 weeks before. Come back when told for ownings still don't have my meds. Staff are nice enough but not many of them for how many customers.
First time in years they have finally got a web order processed within 4 days and informed me it was ready for collection. Thank you.
I frequently have to wait weeks for a prescription and an often not informed that it's ready. I've run out several times waiting for my medication, even if ordering weeks in advance. The interior wait times are appalling, although the staff seem constantly hammered. There's clearly a massive understaffing. I use the Healthera app to manage my prescriptions, but the pharmacy don't update the order status, resulting in further delays.
DO NOT use if you're in a rush. Unbelievably slow every time I've visited. On this occasion it took them over 30 minutes to serve the 9 people in front of me. When I was finally served I was told to come back in 2 hours as they were busy. Complete shambles from top to bottom. If you don't sign up to use the robot service for repeat prescriptions you're a fool, make sure you order well in advance though.
Prescriptions can take over a week to make up and the waiting times are atrocious. While waiting there today in a queue of 10 people, the staff decided it was the right time to sing a rendition of Happy Birthday while we all looked on incredulous. When I mentioned it to the young girl serving, she told another member of staff while laughing about it. They are understaffed and cannot cope with demand.
Disgustingly slow .very rude pharmacist. Some staff are nice others are just dismissive not interested. Has broken dispensary system WHICH THEY THINK WORKS .when you tell them that they need to change to a system that !! works !! they get very rude an tell you !! YOU have an attitude !! Even when you order items on repeat prescription it's never ready. Suppost to be done in 7 days 8 days later still not ready .You have to wait 40mins for them to make the order up then items are missing. No stock control no checking the pre order prescriptions to make sure items are in stock .if it was not the closest to where in live I would not be going back there again .the owner needs to take a very good look at this place and kick it in to shape .
The worst chemist in the world!!! Always packed waiting for an hour with one slow unpleasant clearly stressed sub standard person serving - totally not up to the job - need to employ more staff - clearly can’t cope with demand - NEVER GO HERE - I’ve been trying to get my script for over a week - THEY NEVER ANSWER PHONE OR RING BACK!! ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE - I’ll never use them again
