I would strongly advise AGAINST booking a cottage through Nefyn Holidays. Once they have taken their commission they are NOT interested in engaging or helping to resolve any disputes you may have. I contacted Nefyn Holidays after experiencing several issues at the property we booked through them. Our main issue was sewerage water coming through the taps. It was a known issue to the owner and Nefyn Holidays. We were are no point advised of this issue which meant we had to buy bottled water and were unable to take a shower. Their response? Most people wouldn’t have travelled in this weather.. well actually our route was fine so in my opinion it’s irrelevant. The fact is we had arrived and the property wasn’t fit for purpose. I would have expected a reputable agent to have advised imminent arrivals of the water issues prior to arrival, and if we chose to stay knowing we couldn’t shower then the onus would’ve been on us. I then advised potential customers on their Facebook page of our issues and they lied in their response to me! They stated on the phone that they had withdrawn properties due to water issues, then subsequently denied this. I have posted photos on their Facebook page so recommend having a browse at the type of accommodation you are getting when you book through this company. The property was filthy. Had no towels ( this would’ve been completely acceptable if advertised). Towels were eventually supplied but were damp. This is an agent that has no interest in understanding or wanting to mediate between the property owner or customer to resolve issues. I highly recommend to anyone considering using this agent to avoid and go with a reputable company. * update- thank you so much for pointing out about the weather- this seems to have been your safety net throughout my complaint. So reviewing the facts: Our route was clear the day we travelled? Is the decision not up to the individual to make a call if their route is safe to travel or is it up to Nefyn Holidays to dictate? We are over 18 yrs of age... If you took the time to check your records you will note we had the cottage booked from Saturday. We arrived Sunday. So,we are responsible and capable of checking the weather. Unfortunately, what we didn’t foresee was that you seem to assume that we shouldn’t have had our holiday due to the weather. As you hold your business in such high esteem, would it not have been good customer service to call customers about the burst main? So, after discovering we had no water, then discoloured (brown water), then we moved onto the TV not working. 2 callouts later it works. However , this was short lived and it went off again at 9pm.. ok let’s cook dinner. Unfortunately, that also wasn’t without its issues. The kitchen was filthy. I’m assuming this wasn’t weather related of course...? So in summary. No water, then brown water, broken TV , no towels , (although provided they were damp), filthy kitchen.. it all became a bit stressful Jean... so that’s why we thought we would book somewhere else.. Most importantly though the more appropriate way to raise an issue- please do advise me.. as I recall very well my call to you Monday morning whereby you simply renaiged all responsibility. Contract is with the owner not us, we won’t do anything, we’ve had to withdraw properties... I conclude by saying that I recommend that all future customers check the weather report before travelling, contact Jean for permission to travel, and check there’s no burst pipes, take some cleaning products with you, and don’t expect a working TV .

We used Nefyn Holidays for several years and now recommend family and friends to use them. Nefyn Holidays are helpful and efficient and they have no hesitation in helping with any special requests and needs. In all honesty I haven't found another Holiday Agency to match them. They have properties to suit everyone, so many to choose from too. The standard of properties is very high, so clients can book with confidence knowing they will receive value for money too. The client is always their priority and I can only say they are first class, excellent in all respects.

Just had a wonderful holiday in wales, a beautiful cottage exactly what we were looking for, had a few holidays booked through Nefyn holidays, always straight forward to book and very friendly ladies, will definitely book next years with you, thankyou very much.

We have used the services of Nefyn Holidays for many years now and have always found them extremely helfpul, responsive and very friendly. The cottages we have rented were always perfect, well-cared for, in beautiful settings and just a delight to be in. Felt like home from home. I recommend Nefyn Holidays to people who want to visit N Wales all the time. They are simply the best!

Review of property No. 73 Ty Gwyn June 2016 My family had a fabulous week at Ty Gwyn, the house is really spacious and perfect for larger family groups. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The garden was great for the kids with the trampoline and swings and plenty of space to run around. We had beautiful weather so was able to make use of the sun loungers! The owner Sue was really helpful and replied quickly of any of our concerns. A perfect location to access many of the beaches in the area, couldn’t fault it really will definitely book again.
