It was fairly quiet when I visited just after Christmas, but despite being a bit regretful over having decided to open due to lack of custom, the store assistant was patient and helpful with my request. Cards aren't taken for purchases below £10 so do bear that in mind. Beccles has plenty of nearby ATMs.

My mother-in-law insisted on taking a photo of her "favourite British shop" before returning to Sydney! The ladies who run this shop are marvellous. A proper retail experience where the customer's needs are always put first.
