Cute cosy Japanese cafe with inside and outside seating. The service is absolutely top notch and cannot be faulted definitely thumbs up. I like the food, it tastes great, and they have great healthy, vegetarian and gluten free options too. The cute cat deco is an added bonus. They sell cakes online as well, but I have never tried as you need to order in advance and I keep forgetting to.
This lovely and cute restaurant was amazing from the cute menu designs, the illustrations and the food. Outstanding service by the staff there as they’re all really lovely. You cannot go wrong with a cat-themed restaurant. We opted for the set menu which was £10.80. So rare to find cheap eats at restaurants these days. Portion sizes for the main and side were reasonable and rice portion was too. The beef and seaweed were lovely. I ordered a doriyaki on top of the set menu which was good and soft. Not too sweet. A trip to this adorable restaurant again is much needed.
To be honest, the cute and trendy design of the coffee house caught our eye, so we decided to sit down for dessert and coffee. The cappuccino was a bit too heavy on the milk, which we didn’t quite enjoy. However, the Sakura Mochi was quite interesting, especially with the grape leaves on top . The staff were very friendly, and I’d love to go back to try out more from their food menu.
Cute restaurant with great and delicious food. Really friendly staff went out of their way to seat us even though we didn’t have a reservation. Food was excellent value. Excellent vegan options.Food: 5/5
Lovely service, amazing & authentic food, good vibes!! They were very kind to explain that the chicken is halal, and that they don’t use meat for the broth of their noodles, 10/10 would definitely come againFood: 4/5
Very friendly staff and delicious food. We went for the set lunch which came to only £11 per person. They have vegetarian and vegan options and the restaurant feels very cozy and is in a nice area. The toilets were clean, too. Can only recommend!Food: 5/5
I have been recommending this place for a while, because it’s run by Japanese and the food was quite home-style and authentic. This impression was absolutely gone by today’s visit. I ordered chicken katsu curry. The chicken was good, but the problem was curry. It was not even warm, but cold. I saw a part of vinyl at the edge of the plate. More disappointing was the staff’s behaviour. I told one staff that this was not right, because curry should be hot or at least warm. When I said this, she didnt express any apology and just said she would be back and took out my plate fine. Once she’s back, she asked me back if the curry was not warm. I said that I’ve already said it to you and that you should have checked the curry. Again, she did not apologise. Later, the manager my guess came to me, apologised, and asked what other food I wanted. I asked what is the quickest one, and in the end chose udon. This was all right in the sense that there was no major problem. But the amount was so small and the food quality was bad - too salty, no deep taste of broth. Furthermore, I thought at least my food was on the house, but I had to pay my chicken katsu curry, which is unbelievable. In addition, we asked if we could change the table because the people next to us were so noisy. The staff said we couldnt because we did not make a reservation. But we could see the exact same table for two people empty. Unless people book the exact table, the staff should have swapped the table. Overall, it was very disappointing this time, and I wont recommend this place anymore, nor do I come back. Horrible day. Reply to your response: I saw your reply and it was very unreasonable. I had two slices of chicken katsu and one scoop of curry with rice and stopped eating. How come can you say I ate most of chicken katsu curry? My friend can attest it and you can check your surveillance camera that the food was almost untouched. Your reply is a banal lie and I strongly ask you to correct it.
Necco was so pretty!! Including the food, it was so yummy and the waiter who served us today was lovely and made our whole dining experience fun!! The atmosphere was very nice and made me feel at home. The cat themes made me happy as well because they were so cute so it's a must-go for cat lovers. Overall the prices weren't bad at all as the food was amazing in itself. Thank you necco for the lovely food and service o*≧≦.
Had dinner here very recently in the summer and the atmosphere was great. London was boiling at 30 degrees yet the restaurant’s open layout made it bearable to eat there. Chicken is halal, and the teriyaki sauce is halal as there’s no alcohol used — yes, we asked the chef! I had the Karaage Fried Chicken with curry and rice — the chicken itself is cooked to perfection, crispy and hot when it arrive. But the curry is lacking a bit of flavour in my opinion, maybe I’m just used to overly seasoned Kokoro curry. My friend ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi, again slightly underseasoned in my opinion when I tasted it. Did not taste the Spicy Softshell Crab Tempura uramaki my friends ordered but they look happy with it. The sauce on the uramaki was a bit spicy for sure even for me. To pair with the hot summer, we ordered iced matcha lattes. Now that was good, but still could use a bit more matcha — but this is personal taste, some people don’t like too bold matcha flavours so that’s fair. Service was a bit slow but they were training a trainee on that day so that’s fine.
I rarely give out five stars but this place really deserves it. Super tasty food at reasonable prices, the staff were an absolute delight, and the whole place ramp getting in, toilets, etc are wheelchair accessible.
