Went in there this morning, no masks worn by the staff. One member constantly coughing not even covering her mouth. Made a comment and was brushed off with an attitude. This place has food but this member of staff couldn't be bothered to even cover her mouth.

Shopped here regularly until this incident.. I bought a 2.5L bottle £3.99 of Crumpton Oaks cider on 25/6/18. Cider was in date, Just, but smelled and tasted of bad eggs. I returned the bottle to the shop, the store manager on duty was suspicious that I may be a master criminal, intent on duping her beloved company out of £3.99. She told me that only superior store managers had the authority to refund sums so vast as £3.99, but staff of such a magnificent stature rarely found time to visit the store. Feeling somewhat crestfallen, I left the eggy cider, along with my details in the hands of the matriarch on duty. I then headed for home, bleary eyed, and with my tail between my legs. I now spend my days waiting patiently for a member of the nearbuys nobility to contact me, hoping to put this whole sorry mess behind me.  Nobody as yet has contacted me. :

I use this shop regularly. Has good range of general produce & friendly staff. Also has an indoor ATM.

This place sells nearly everything!  Open early to late at night it's very convenient and the staff are really polite and helpful
