Get the app, it's cheaper.  Very central car park ideal for the centre of town. Access is via the Balmoral Centre with steps or there are two lifts.nCons are the spaces are quite narrow for today's size of cars and there are a lot of concrete pillars around.  I know they are needed but can make it a bit tight in some of the spaces.nEven so we use it every week :-

I always enjoy visiting Scarborough because I spent some time there when I was in the Army its an housing estate now with the roads named after Army units, Scarborough as altered over the Years since I first stopped there in the early  1970s but it's never lost the feeling of a British sea side holiday town and it still smells the same as it always did the sea air, candyfloss, hotdogs and the noise of arcades and people enjoying them selves.

Handy.. 8mins walk from Bike & Boot!! if you stay with them, they pay for the car park..they love dogs..great food..good rates and if you stop sunday neyt you get breaky AND £25 to spend int bar

Friendly and helpful staff, the parking is well positioned for access to shops, would prefer longer opening hours but I made it work.

Download the ncp app before you enter the car park. It's cheaper, but we didn't see the signs until already commited with nowhere to pull in. It's a little dark in some areas, especially near exit/lift area. Seems to be undergoing some maintenance to improve. Some larger spaces are available, too. Ideally situated for shops.
