Went to park there today 7/1/24 with my disabled mother, unloaded her mobility scooter from my car and assembled it battery and chair plugs in, as it is too heavy to carry together, only to find that both of the lifts were out of service, could have put a sign up at the entrance! And then got charged for the 5/10 mins we were in car park. We then had to find somewhere else to park and we were then late to the event we were attending.

A little pricey but found a space in time for the passport office appointment.
I got trapped in this car park. I don't recommend using it.nnI took my elderly mother in to this car park, parked up, found both lifts out of service - the only way to get a disabled passenger out on foot. We returned to the car, irritated by the waste of time. When we got to the barrier to leave it expected payment, not totally unsurprising seeing it's automatic. What was surprising however was the support or rather lack of it. I explained I wasn't going to pay to not be able to exit the car park with my mother and reminded the lady of the legal obligation they have to provide disabled access. Anyway she was about as much use as a chocolate teapot, slow to understand, borderline aggressive in her tone and eventually tried putting me through to somebody else, which rang without answer and I couldn't reach her again after that, leaving me stuck. By that point, I must've wasted about 30 mins in total, and my time was more valuable than the fee needed to escape the ridiculous situation so I paid up and left.nnWill never use an NCP car park again if this is how they do business
