I had a brilliant experience with a colleague from the NatWest Solihull branch. Her name is Mary. She dealt with my query with care and understanding and fixed it for me. 10/10 service from her, thank you so much!
Went inside today. I am greatly disappointed and dismayed over a lack of staffs only see 3 staffs and couldn't make appointment. Only to do online Like to make appointment to see a staff member and be happy as a customer/visitor.
I am a NW customer at a different branch but went into mom's Solihull branch with her after my dad passed away. We had so many queries and problems. The staff were wonderful. Initially served by a young lady on the desk very helpful and polite, we were then helped by a lady named Sarah. She was fantastic, sorted all our problems and lifted one of the weights off our mind at this difficult time. Very grateful.
Arrived 5 minutes before the bank closed. The doors were locked and they refused to let us in and said that the tolls were closed. I explained that I didn’t need a till and just needed a machine to deposit cash. Again, we were refused entry
I lost my debit card. I called nat West and told the operator. She told me my card had been cancelled and she had ordered me a replacement. 7 days later l went into my branch only to be told my. card had not been cancelled or a new one ordered.
Recently came here as I needed to deposit some cash. I don’t bank with NatWest themselves but I bank with RBS. I got sent a letter from RBS informing me that the Birmingham city centre branch will be closing and I’m allowed to use any NatWest store as it’s it parent company. It ended up me not being allowed to use their services even though I had ID. I have lost my RBS card and I’m utmost certain I can deposit cash without a card. I had my online banking with me but even then I needed my card. I was served by a man who wore casual clothes, he really didn’t really seem bothered at all and it did seem like he was a manager. God knows what the issue was? Maybe I was young? Asian? Had a load of cash with proof of funds? Maybe I wore a nice outfit or a not so nice outfit and it wasn’t good for his liking? God knows, In the end I decided to deposit it at Lloyds across the road without having to use my card when I already had it and that went through fine. All then asked for was proof of funds and ID. Thank you NatWest Solihull for a brilliant service. Will definitely not be using NatWest Solihull next time.
Went into NatWest this morning regarding a problem I have trying to transfer money to another a/c with them. Given a phone number by the receptionist, which transpires it is for home, or travel insurance! Absolutely useless, appalling customer service.
Terrible. Today I spoke to the ‘manager’ she was very manipulative and very sarcastic. I wasn’t happy with the service. I’m sorry but normally when I go in there everyone is happy and positive and kind but she was not. I’m putting it down to she’s having a bad day or had a argument with her husband. I walked out feeling confused. She did not help me and was not helpful. When I walked over to her she put her finger up to shush me shouted to someone across the room and then told me to speak. If she was busy she should have said go to someone who wasn’t busy. Management need to ask her to leave her problems at the door before entering work and talking to me like I was a 2 year old. Nasty. Very unbelievably nasty. Changing banks to Lloyd’s as they are always very polite in there and they never talk to young people like myself as 2 year olds and belittle them.
Horrendous branch with appalling costumer service. They need to adjust their tone, and that goes across multiple staff members. A course in basic customer service would to them great. Urge all to stay away from this branch. The reviews speak for themselves. I would honestly go to a different branch even if it took a few extra minutes.
My parents have over the past year become house bound. My Mother was taken into hospital recently and although home now it highlighted the problem that my Dad who is nearly blind can no longer sign things. My Mother has phoned and written to the bank but they refuse to send anyone out to verify the form to allow my signature to be added to the account. Obviously Nat West don't care about their elderly customers, infact they abandon them!!! I feel one star is too many when they treat customers who have been with them since 1962 this way!!!
