Extremely helpful cashier Val,I cannot praise her highly enough for her kindness and patience .
I have recently moved to the area and found the staff in this branch to be outstanding. Helpful with change of name and address info which is tricky to do on line. Elaine in particular was patient and kind. i have observed the staff in here many times being helpful to the elderly generation in Shaftesbury and feel this town is lucky to have a bank. Disgraced the arrogant review left by someone else saying the bank is a joke - He clearly doesnt realise that it is probably working more for the retired community. Keep up the great work Shaftesbury
Been waiting 3 weeks for a cheque book. Requested 3 times. Each time told on way. Now turns out they have made the account no cheques. The business banking side has gone downhill enormously. Now got to wait another 7 days so we will have 1 month outstanding bills to pay. Services could be but off!
If I could give this a zero I would. The closing hours are stated as 3.30pm. When I got to the branch at 3.03pm there is a notice on the door stating "that due to staff sickness this branch is closing at 3pm". This should be put on the website so that people don't waste their time and fuel going to the branch. There are never enough staff on duty and very often the queue is outside the door.
Exceptional customer service from Manager, Samantha. She helped me with an issue that I thought would take ages to sort. She dealt with it in a very friendly, efficient way, prepared to go the extra mile to help.
Well the opening time on the internet states 0900-1700 so when I get there to pay in money as NatWest has recently closed the Gillingham branch I found it closes at 1630 as shown on the opening times shown on the door. Seems the backside doesn't know what the elbow is doing. Will now be closing my personal and business account as the idea of business is to become more efficient not take a step back twenty years. Not such helpful banking.
this branch is an joke! opening times designed for retired people only ! WHY OPEN TILL 3:30 ?? and from 10am ??? .. and one person working only. haha
Very friendly and helpful they got people in fast and out fast in this situation. Thank you to lovely lady that made sure I was OK and kept me informed on how long it was going to take.
Once again another business in Shaftesbury that can't comprehend updating opening and closing times on Google. At a time when people need to know.
Online confirmation if one ing hours include Saturday. WRONG. And whilst I found this out so did 3 other people. If you are slightly rural you are scuppered!
