The Natural Bed Company makes contemporary wooden beds using solid timber from sustainable sources.

We design and make our wooden beds in workshops near our showroom in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Our beds are made to order and our skilled craftsmen can often customise our beds to suit your room. We sell online and from our showrooms in Sheffield's Devonshire Quarter; we don't supply any other outlets.

A fantastic local company who were a pleasure to deal with. High quality, beautiful products with master craftsmanship. The new bed has become a feature of the room given the stunning headboard. Excellent communications, well packaged and easy to assemble. Would highly recommend.

I don’t usually leave reviews but after getting our new oak Bloomsbury bed along with the Bok table it just makes sense to do so. The finished product is really impressive in quality, finish and design, definitely a big step up from an old IKEA bed. But I also found the actual experience of ordering a real stand out, from the actual website providing excellent visuals of the product along with woods and side tables combinations helping with decision making, to the extensive description and important details on checking mattress depth before ordering. Communication post purchase and during delivery was also very snappy and efficient, in my case just looking to chase the delivery company for the delivery date. Highly recommended, definitely worth it.

Simply put, The Natural Bed Company making a beautiful, contemporary furniture with the highest quality materials, and environmentally conscious methods. We bought a Sahara bed in oak, and it's lovely.  The bed came on-time, packaged using the bare minimum of plastic material, but carefully and securely housed in robust cardboard.  The delivery company they used were also very good, and offered to unpack, but I did this myself and assembled the bed myself which was easy.  The customer service is also great - Beth was super helpful with answering my questions.  I was initially hesitant about spending a bit extra on a bed from NBC, but very glad I did - it's a piece of furniture we will live with for many years, and far and away superior to a mass-manufactured bed.  They have taken care to make this bed, and it shows. Very pleased indeed...smug, even :

We ordered a bed from The Natural Bed Company and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Saw them online and then went into the store to have a look in person, so inspirational and helpful to see everything laid out in mini bedrooms! Just the aesthetic we were looking for, plus it's not a treat to go into the store and choose bedding and other accessories to complete the look. Amazing products and great, helpful staff, thank you!

I've just received my Camden oak super king bed. The bed is beautifully made in Sheffield. It was quick and easy to put together, and because of the clever constrution it is rock solid too. Not cheap but worth it, I expect this bed to last for the rest of my life. Made with skill and love in the UK. Recommended.

BEAUTIFUL WALNUT BED - CARNABY DESIGN I had my eye on this bed for two years, and waited to buy it due to the price. They are not cheap, but are well worth the money...and the wait. The quality and look are beautiful and I feel happy that we have purchased a hand made item supporting a UK company, which will last for years. We looked extensively online and at local shops, but I kept going back to this website. We live a long way from the showroom and what with various lockdowns felt unable to travel there, I was a bit worried at purchasing something for so much money without seeing it first. I called a few times and checked measurements and that our Tempur mattress which was heavy would be suitable and was always met with a helpful response. I was also concerned that the mattress would slip around as it sits on top the bed and not within the frame like our previous bed, but the bed come with a not-slip mat and does not move around. Delivery took quite a few months, but it was definitely worth the wait. I absolutely love my Walnut Carnaby bed. Thank you! Sarah

Fantastic design & quality. Great communication and support throughout the process, a real pleasure to purchase from this company. The bed frame was super easy to put together, I managed to pit a King size frame together on my own - not needing an extra pair of hands. We had a fantastic experience with Natural Bed Company from start to finish! We arranged to visit to the shop back in May and had a lovely time browsing in the showroom and speaking to the staff, got a lot of help with wood samples and additional pictures. Decided on the Oregon in Maple. We knew it was going to be a wait until it gets made and delivered but it was TOTALLY WORTH the wait! The bed is stunning and so beautifully finished. The quality of the wood and the design makes it really sturdy. Was easy to assemble too. We have had it for a month now and would 100% recommend!
