Nationwide is one of the best building societies I have ever banked with. I have been a member for 40+ years. The staff at Gravesend are exceptional. Always happy to have a chat and personable.
I was served by a lady called Zarka and the service was exceptional, she helped me complete everything I needed to do! The Gravesend branch is always been warm and friendly and makes me feel very relaxed whenever I need help managing my money
One member of staff today was lovely and helpful, but unfortunately the main one we had to deal with was rather condescending for most of our interactions. She could have also been more helpful than she was, as we ended up wasting a lot of time repeatedly queuing. However, we did achieve what we set out to do eventually and the staff member became warmer towards the end, wishing us a nice day as we parted.
I opened an account with the help of Zarka on Monday 5th June. She was informative, helpful and professional. She is so personable and friendly and she is a credit to your branch. Thanks Karen Gibbins

We were not keen to go to the Branch to withdraw from a Passbook A/c due to covid fear. Staff members Louise and George were absolutely fantastic. They went out of their way to find a way for us to effect the withdrawal and transfer to our Bank A/c and George actually drove to our house to obtain our signatures. We were totally overwhelmed and touched by the extent that they went beyond the call of duty to help us and have never ever experienced such dedicated, understanding, sympathetic and helpful staff. We have no words to adequately express our thanks and gratitude to them. They are a huge asset and a credit to Nationwide and a shining example to the rest of the world of what can be achieved with a commitment to help and goodwill. If we had more people like Louise and George, this world would be a much better place. Farook Girach
Every time I have called in , the staff have gone out of their way to help. It really is a friendly local building society and it is a great advertisement for the company

Visited Gravesend branch this morning and the staff were very polite and ever so helpful.
The staff are good but the bank it's self is rubbish you have to wait for bank statements for ages jus better banks out there
