We initally thought they had been professional and thorough albeit a bit slow. However, on getting our car back we found that although they had replaced a broken window they had failed to clean up all the broken glass. Very dangerous especially for pets. They also replaced a rear light cluster. A more serious issue was that we began to receive messages about electrical faults. At first it was about the battery so we had it tested. It was absolutely fine so we were puzzled but continued to use the car. The warning went off so we assumed there was no longer an issue. Then it came back, along with every other warning symbol just before the electrics completely failed and the car went dead. Thinking about the battery issue we charged the car for two days. It seemed work but after 20mins driving the same electrical failire occured. We called nationwide as these errors only occurred after they had worked on the car. The rude woman said they wouldn't even look at the car claiming replacing a light cluster didn't involve any electrical work at all. She said if we paid for an inspection and diagnostic report by an official dealer they might consider it but were adamant it had nothing to do with them. When we asked for a detailed schedule of works done on our car we were told they wouldn't provide one. The car was part of a business fleet and the original repairs were under an insurance policy. We were so disgusted by the behaviour and attitude of nationwide we have only renewed our insurance on the basis we will never be asked to use this garage again.
