Amazing gardens, follow the main path up with the stream, shrubs and flowers makes a lovely place to be. Other paths branch off into either the walled garden to the right or more of a woodland walk to the left, passing the house across the lawn to the terrace garden, was told if lovely views but unfortunately for us it was a little misty the day we went. Walked back through the woodland garden paths to the walled garden and tearoom. Toilets are available there too. Seating in or outside for the café, book and the National Trust shop are worth looking around. Lovely gardens and walks.nHighly recommend.
Smallish gardens, usual good quality light snacks available in the café.nNice way to spend around 1-2 hours on a nice sunny day.nSome very nice plants to take photos of.
This is a nice secret sub tropical garden to wander thru, well maintained and with some gorgeous mature tree ferns a massive magnolia tree and other types of trees and plants that are thriving in this climate, of course followed by refreshments after the trek!
Beautiful woodland garden walk, with enormous tree ferns and other trees. Cafe does a lovely cream tea. Jam first of course.
Lovely garden walk with pleasant views. Really nice coffee served at the cafe and a nice sized national trust shop.
