Lovely site, although the house was closed because of the pandemic. The grounds are very well kept and make for a lovely walk. There's a beautiful orchard for picnics on sunny days.
Beautiful gardens, interesting history and National Trust trail. Cafe selling snacks and sandwiches and a lovely picnic area by the orchard. Took about 2 hours there, and plenty of wonderful walks around.
Great facilities, stunning grounds and gardens and lots of interesting things for children to discover
A peaceful spot to wander for an hour. Beautiful scenery. Couldn't get in the house though. Shop, restaurant, shop all well run.
Small but lovely property. Eclectic house crammed with "stuff" collected by the owners from all periods. Lovely orchard, kitchen garden and cafe.
Brilliant place, Charles Wade was a genius at creating totally unique house and grounds. The reason for 4 stars, is going round was too rushed as they wanted to get as many people through as possible so couldn't take it all in. Nonetheless still enjoyable. We will go again.
Amazing grounds, great views.. would recommend and advise to book your visit
