Our visit was on a very rainy day for an Easter Egg hunt in the grounds. Well organized and very friendly staff. We have visited the museum/house before and found its history very interesting. Nice cafe in old stable block.

One of the National Trusts smaller properties that I have visited, it took around 2 hours to go round the house and gardens. Lovely building with the current theme being the properties time as a nursery towards the end of the Second World War, some wonderful pieces on display. You are free to touch most of the items and investigate as much as you like. Grounds are neat and tidy and fairly compact.

Quite interesting, small site compared to most national trust places. Very nice cafe. Ideal visit if you are near or passing through.

A diamond in the rough. Park in the tesco car park and a short walk away. Very well explained history of the story was told to us when we arrived in the house and a lovely garden out the back. Well worth a visit.

An old house with a lot of history. The main focus now is when it was used as a children's day nursery during 2nd world war while the parents were employed in key industries. A lovely community garden sits in its grounds. The garden is free but it's worth paying to visit the house. National Trust members can go in free. It's not a full days activity so plan to do something else afterwards if you want to.
