Very popular today, car park busy. House dressed for Christmas, looking great. Cafe open with limited indoor seating. Staff working hard, well done guys. Fine late autumn/early winter day for stroll around the lake.

Beautiful walk amazing trees really enjoyed myself. I had a shoulder ache when I went and the stress had completely gone when I returned back from here.

Lovely autumn leaves. Great walk (Upper Pond) and pleasure park. Knowledgeable volunteers in the house. Enough space to view the many artworks.

The park was great for a we quiet walk away from large crowds. The walk from the North car park to the town is around 20-30 mins, but the views are very inspiring.

Only able to go round the park when I visited due to lockdown, but the grounds were Epic! Past the garden, its just beautiful, vast, open with great paths... you could happily loose yourself just wandering around. Even if the weathers not good, you'll still enjoy walking round soaking up great views.

Such a beautiful location. We absolutely loved our walk with the kids.  Take a camera as it is full of photo opportunities of park grounds and trees.

Extensive, beautiful gardens with Fallow deer roaming and a large house displaying the art collection. I would have liked to have asked the National Trust volunteers specific questions about the art collection, but several were not wearing masks during these Covid lockdown and I was wary of approaching them.
