"Enjoy picturesque villages, drystone walls, flower filled hay meadows and the characteristic rolling hills of the Dales. Rolling countryside with steep sided valleys, vast heather covered moorland hilltops and a patchwork of drystone walls and barns. It can be wild and windswept one day and quiet and calm the next. Whatever the weather this limestone scenery is a great place for stretching your legs on a walk, by bike or simply enjoying the large open spaces and far reaching views."

With natural beauty in abundance, this park is fabulous. If you like walking, no matter how fit you are there's a path for you. Boots are a must at this time of the year as some areas are muddy.
Simply beautiful...must be at least 10 years since I was last here, reminded me of what I've missed...can't wait to come back with a picnic
Absolutely amazing place. Can go for hours of walk and still its the same interesting every step. Some lovely waterfalls and big climbs. Walk along the river side is a pleasure. Must visit place.
Absolutely beautiful! Can't believe this place has been on my doorstep and I didnt even know. Theres about 4 different trails for all different fitness types. Be prepared and take wellies in the colder months. Toilet facilities at the car park and you do need to pay for parking. You can get down to the river if you want to. Lovely walk for dogs as well but note that there can be live cattle around too.
Lovely walk it takes you right into Richmond. Well marked paths.
Lovely place to get away from it all. Great place to park and walk the dog or let it swim in the river.
Beautiful native woods with walks alongside the river. Look out for the Galloway cows grazing there too!
Lovely place for a walk all year round. Bring boots unless it's been very dry! Can be really muddy.
Pleasant walk around the Tarn starting at the nature reserve where 3 Roe deer were grazing. Trying to walk quietly in hiking boots proved difficult but still managed to get fairly close. Used the hide by the Tarn to watch the birds and had a stoat run across the path ahead of me. His coat was a mixture of brown and ermine.
Excellent place for a day out with family, camping or just walk around. Dont miss the opportunity to climb hills surrounding the tarn. And watch for them cows : P.S. about an hour walk from Malham.
