The Argory is such a relaxing place. Really enjoy taking a stroll in spring time to see all the beautiful flowers and the rose garden. I also loved visiting the inside of the building, the guide was really helpful and passionate.
visit 25/10/2021: great use of the National Trust Family membership again pays for itself after a few visits. Definitely family friendly and can take the buggy/pram around with ease. Went for the blackwater walk and not disappointed by the quality views. Lots of parking and great weather on the day. Highly recommended

Lovely setting by the River Blackwater. Couple of walks through the grounds. Charming courtyard home of small second hand bookshop and cafe. House tour is interesting. Plenty of space as well as a small play area for children.
Love this place! Brought a picnic and some snacks for the kids. The playpark is brilliant and the kids loved the mud kitchen so muxh! Will definitely be back with puddlesuits and wellies next time! There are balance bikes to hire out and a lovely walk by the river and garden areas. A great place all round for a trip out with the family. Lovely to see a forest school site for the children to explore while passing.
