I've been visiting Clumber Park since I was a small child and days out here are quite simply, fantastic! We often take a picnic and have a stroll around the lake and into the forests. You can grab a cake and coffee at the cafe and there's toilets if you need them. The scenery is brilliant and for kids it's just one big adventure! If you're into cycling with the family, then you could always take the bikes with you too! I would definitely recommend it.

Amazingly beautiful place for all of the family or a nice romantic time together. There is so much to do here. You can walk the 5 miles around the lake or go on the other trails set out. The woodland play area is great for the kids as well as the indoor activity centre that has lots going on. There is also a book shop in the main courtyard and the books are only a pound or so. You can hire bikes such as tandems or bikes with baby seats or trailers for the back, also kids bikes and helmets are available.

Clumber park is a very extensive park land. We love coming here to run about. There is plenty of parking. There is a cafe☕, shop, bike hire🚴 available. The river Poulter runs through it. There are great walks along it. Dogs welcome🐶. The house is completely gone but the foundation outline still exists. The house was occupied by the Dukes of Newcastle. There is a lovely chapel⛪ on the site (St. Mary the Virgin) with a 180ft high spire. The walled kitchen garden had been restored in the 1980s/1990s and is lovely. Interesting garden equipment on show. I would recommend a visit.

A beautiful national trust site, lots of lovely walks and bike rides through the woods or around the lakes. In spring and summer the Rhododendrons flower which is magnificent and something we used to see with my grandad. The walled kitchen gardens offer more formal planting of edible varieties. There are often interesting trails for the kids to do. They have a brilliant old apple variety collection and rhubarb. If you are at all interested in food, growing or growing your own it's well worth a visit.

Always love it here, being National Trust member's with free admission is a perk, but it's very reasonable anyway. Great cycle routes to suit all ages, we especially enjoy it with our children and grandchildren and dogs. Super caravan site actually in the Park with numerous lovely walks from. If you 'like' this review please give me a tick √
