Very nice peaceful place where you can walk around a lake. Take a picnic. Has a few seats around the lake and wooded areas. At the entrance/exit there is a cafe next to a children's enclosed safe play area. Not a huge car park so can get very busy in peak times. But well run clean and tidy.
First visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a good one way system going around the lake although not everyone follows that idea when you explore further afield but plenty of room to pass each other. A smaller estate as it's close to London but the cafe was open for coffee and some food options.
A lovely park just down the road from me. There are enough optional hilly paths to give me a bit of a work out but plenty of flat paths for gentle strolling. The café was open for takeaway.
It was OK. Think it would be better to have gone when its a bit more autumnal. Very short walk, think its great for kids but not worth £10 pp.
We love taking our grandchildren here. There's usually a trail of some kind to entertain them otherwise they love just running around exploring. It's a great place for a walk and the toilets and cafe are open. There's an attractive lake and plenty of places to picnic. Definitely worth a visit.
Love Claremont Gardens- though it isn’t very large and my friend and I did a loop walk in 15 mins- so we did 3/4 loops just to get the steps in! Pretty paths and gardens- cafe is open which is a bonus. Parking was a bit tight though.
