It’s not always open and the people I met there were not impressed.Visited onWeekend"},{"text":"Worth visiting, especially if u can climb to the top of it inside.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo"},{"text":"What. A fantastic windmill. Such a great visit with bug collecting and windmill making for children."},{"text":"If you are in Bembridge pop along to visit the windmill. Great history. Plenty of information to tell you about its history. Great views across the IoW at the same time too."},{"text":"A fascinating snapshot of history, unusually complete, wonderfully wonky, and technically tantalising. Good for short visits with kids, friendly and informative staff."},{"text":"Really well preserved windmill, and as with many National Trust places to visit, the staff are highly engaged and invested. The lady who acted as our guide, forgot to catch her name, was very well informed and had a genuine interest in the construction, to the point that she’d taken an interest in carpentry - she was a great guide! For what it costs, even though you won’t spend hours there, it’s definitely worth it as a point of interest."},{"text":"What a great little National Trust visit. No parking by the windmill, but there is a lay-by just before it that has parking for around 7-8 cars. You can go all the way to the top of the mill, and there are plenty of activities for the kids. Giant jenga, mud kitchen, crafts and a mouse hunt inside the mill itself. Well worth a visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo"}]
