Amazing guided tour of HMS Trincomalee by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable lady. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring we were able to make the most of our limited time to view the exhibits. Brilliant museum.

Interesting place great old boat (tall ship) with sails for the kids to explore all the decks and roam around inside. Loads of old shops to look in a see the traders who supplied the navy. Fantastic walk through experience showing what life was like on a ship in Nelsons time. Things for the kids to look and good demonstrations on musket firing and making rope, the kids really enjoyed it. Good value for money.

We live in Hartlepool so I obtained a yearly ticket which allows you to go in to the attraction five times in one year for £30 which I think is excellent value plus you can visit the free museum next door all in all it is a good half a day out the ticket allows up to 2 adults and 3 children under15

A really engaging experience in a recreation of a port circa 1820 with a variety of exhibits and the wonderful HMS Trincomalee... great for kids. The fighting ships tour is excellent.

Just go, it's well worth it. The museum is free, but £10 to go on the Trincomalee, but that needs a visit too, plus all of the recreated dock buildings.
