Had to get a coach because of the train strike. The staff at Manchester coach station were amazing, so helpful on such a busy morning. Thanks so much for your help getting me to Leeds. The driver was also lovely. Really impressed.
Nice clean coach station connected to the bus station making it very convenient. Plenty of clean public toilets and shops to get food including a Gregg's. Everything is clearly signposted and information displayed, and I've always found the staff helpful.
It's a long time since I've travelled by National Express and I find things much improved. Here in Leeds all is modern & superbly organised. The National Express part of the bus station has a departure board, ticket office and self-service ticket machines. Departures are clearly announced.
Quiet place, you have to wait inside and look at the screen to know the exact time of the bus, there is a toilet, but you have to pay a small amount. There is also a coffee shop and a place to rest and wait. The place overall is ok. As for the company, sometimes it rides from Leeds to London, and the price is unreasonable. You walk 1 minute from inside to go inside Leeds bus station.
Lovely coach, that’s clean and driver is lovely. Only let down is the blonde receptionist, just seems annoyed to help people when it’s her job. Yet again could’ve been having a bad day so ‍
Great journey and friendly helpful driver. A bit chaotic at Leeds bus station due to 2 buses being put on for the route but one came directly to Manchester Airport so very quick and easy
Very good prices, very good buses and the network But have to face delays, sometimes more than an hour. I enjoyed low cost travels in high buses but always late.
Big thankyou to all National Express Coach staff - both drivers and ground crew - for being cheerful, freindly and polite on what must have been a very trying day. Yet another train strike
Leeds to Manchester. I'd waited 2 hr overlay and then the bus was an hour late making it a very long and weary trip. Understand delays but it was a bit much if I was on a train if get a refund!
I love the coach. Trains are a joke at the moment but more than happy to use National Express to get to & from Leeds to see my grand children
