No indoor seating, no toilet facilities and no coach monitor for coach information. Absolutely shocking for Newcastle upon Tyne.
Terrible service, ticket office booked wrong date on ticket and I didn't really notice until departure. Bus driver would not let me on or have sympathy as it was tickets persons fault. Said I would understand if it was my own error. Told me to ring and ammend ticket at extra fee, so I rang the helpline but there computer system wasn't working and couldn't take my debit card details. Left me stranded over night. Terrible customer service and no office despite being a big city. Will stick to own transport in future which is more cheaper and convenient.
Newcastle Coach Station is an absolute disgrace. There is no where to shelter, there are very few seats, rubbish is strewn everywhere and there are no facilities either in the station itself or nearby. Compared to other city centre coach stations, this is shameful.
Long journey from nottingham to Edinburgh but coach was comfortable, driver was informative gave us plenty of time at stops we arrived on time, the views are spectacular visiting cities on the way to drop off/pick up, smooth drive through some amazing landscape this journey was part of my break away and I will do it again when next visiting family
This bus station does not allow to come into. It is locked, no toilet, no seats. Nothing. You will have to wait outside in snow and rain for your bus. Very inconvenient.
Terrible service by the driver of Angel 21 Bus 17:50 on 5/11/2022 very unfriendly, the buses are very late and they're too expensive for a short trip. Walk.
I live in Newcastle and even I find the coach station horrendous. The only one I know that shuts its doors, so your standing in the freezing cold with young children/grandchildren whom need the toilet and crying because they're cold. Get your act together.
This bus station does not even deserve a one star rating. The worst bus station we’ve ever come across. Was at the station on Friday 18 Feb at 2 pm to get on a bus to Edinburgh at 2:35 and the indoor waiting area was closed. It was extremely busy at that time. There were many passengers waiting for their coach to London. Everyone had to wait outside in the freezing cold, gust winds and rain. Felt so bad for the young children and vulnerable passengers and for anyone who would have wanted to use the toilets. This is absolutely shocking and appalling for this day and age. We were very lucky that the driver and the coach assistant were exceptional and made our bus journey smooth and pleasant. Thank you to the both of them.
Waited for a friend there, it seemed very tranquil and not too busy. Although the only coach at the time was our friend's we could still enjoy waiting at the station which is in the city's center.
Waiting room closed. No information regarding coach arrivals Really cold and snowing so nowhere to keep warm. Litter everywhere. It must be the worst coach station in the country!
