They need to create a mini seating area for customers we were standing in d rain waiting for bus because no shelter and some came with children feeling cold. Aside this they are ok. Also they should open the Sunderland seating area as well instead of people hanging in d cold
Disgusting filthy coach station we went to Newcastle which we love for a few days had to wait for a coach to come home fgs I was nearly sick with the state of it I have never seen a station like it if you can call it that. How can you not provide toilets or a proper indoor shelter. Absolutely shocking
It needs a coffee shop or a fast food place 24/7/365 so that patrons of the buses can sit inside whilst waiting for the buses. It would also be smarter to share the station with megabus.
Disgustingly dirty, there is garbage all over the place. Not many places where you can sit down. Poorly lit, feels very unsafe.
It used to be good. Now it's all closed up so it's just a glorified bus stop but without much glory.
Really bad that the coach station is literally outside, other coach stations have big waiting halls.
Office closed so no way to find out info on travel, overflowing bins, nowhere to sit that protects from the elements, and no toilets so had to walk all the way over to life center just to use the loos.
This bus station does not even deserve a one star rating. The worst bus station we’ve ever come across. Was at the station on Friday 18 Feb at 2 pm to get on a bus to Edinburgh at 2:35 and the indoor waiting area was closed. It was extremely busy at that time. There were many passengers waiting for their coach to London. Everyone had to wait outside in the freezing cold, gust winds and rain. Felt so bad for the young children and vulnerable passengers and for anyone who would have wanted to use the toilets. This is absolutely shocking and appalling for this day and age. We were very lucky that the driver and the coach assistant were exceptional and made our bus journey smooth and pleasant. Thank you to the both of them.
Terrible service, ticket office booked wrong date on ticket and I didn't really notice until departure. Bus driver would not let me on or have sympathy as it was tickets persons fault. Said I would understand if it was my own error. Told me to ring and ammend ticket at extra fee, so I rang the helpline but there computer system wasn't working and couldn't take my debit card details. Left me stranded over night. Terrible customer service and no office despite being a big city. Will stick to own transport in future which is more cheaper and convenient.
Our bus that left at 9.30 am to manchester airport broke down we had to wait 1hr tp have it fixed then the driver told us at centre Manchester bus station we had to get of as he had no time to go to airport we explained we had tickets to airport he refused to go so we had to taxi rest of way and arrived 1.30 mins over late lucky we were staying over night at airport hotel and not flying straight out
