Great place for a relaxing day. Suitable for everyone. No entry fee, only parking fee for cars but very reasonably priced. Nice cafe and toilets inside. Very well maintained. Loads of squirrels and birds that kids enjoy. Would need an entire day to go around the garden and the greenhouses. My kids 9 & 2 enjoy spending the day here and have never complained. Every time we have visited, there has been something new, doesn't get boring. Very limited Parking space and can get full quickly on holidays. So plan ahead.
Gorgeous day out. The gardens are stunning and so well kept. Lovely seating areas and perfect for a family picnic. The car park is small so I would recommend to go early, it's one car out and one car in system. We visited Arlington Cemetery that's beside the gardens which was beautiful too. The only downside was the cafe had run out of sandwiches come 2 O clock, I would recommend the cafe in Arlington instead. Overall a great day out!
Very nice place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and tidy. The flowers are getting very beautiful at this time of the year. It's a calm and peaceful place to get some lazy day. The coffee shop is very handy. The parking slot is very small, just few places, but it has affordable pricing. Totally worth the visit.
I could spend my days lost in there, rain or shine because nature is just mesmerizing. Not to mention the greenhouses which are both, delicate and majestic! Get a guided tour if you would like to find out everything all at once but if you have the chance to go back again and again, just take your time to enjoy
Absolutely stunning. We did have to get a taxi to visit the gardens from where we were but it was absolutely worth it. The gardens were so gorgeous and I appreciated that they had signs on so many of the plants to identify them. Lots of fun nature to see as well - magpies, fat squirrels that come up to you to beg for food, storks, ducks, etc. The conservatories had more exotic plants cacti, palms and more. At the end we just found a bench to sit on and relax. Gorgeous.
Loved this place! Stunning and enormous garden with different flower beds/pots/smaller exhibitions. Gardens are divided according to regions where the plants are naturally found but you can find some special places such as the Rose Garden which contains only roses. Thank you to everybody who works hard to maintain such beauty. will be back soon
Third visit, and it's still as exceptional as before. Beautiful spaces, amazing scenery and quality fresh air The food area is great, all amenities available. The Gardens are large, every time I come here there is a new place I hadn't seen before. Worth the visit. free entry, great place for a book read, catch up with friends, solo reflection walk, group tour and family fun day.y
Literally have no words to describe this breathtaking botanic garden, I can say with no doubt on my mind that it's the most beautiful one I've ever been. It has vast variety of flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables, herbs... An amazing place to come and forget the busy life of dublin, sit on the grass and have a lovely picnic enjoying the incredible view of the gardens.
The botanical gardens consist of a large park with different areas, and several greenhouses. I absolutely loved the greenhouses, they are well-maintained, display a great variety of exotic and native plants, and in the big one you really feel like in a jungle, I especially liked the small jungle-hut hidden in the forest. Parking for a fee is available, As well as a café botanical garden tea rooms where you can find food and bathrooms. Everything there to have a lovely trip, There is no entrance fee; which i think is great
It's an amazing place, beautiful gardens, a lot of plants, trees, flowers, everything is in perfect condition, well cared for and maintained. The entry is free. You cannot have a picnic, but you really enjoy every moment there. It's perfect for go out to friends, family or partner. There are a coffee shop and toilets inside
