Wigan Nando’s is probably one of the best Nando’s I’ve been through the years. Staff are always friendly, in true Nando’s fashion get asked if the food is alright with a mouthful. Always a speedy service whether it’s eat in or takeaway, very clean and kept tidy. Also having an allergy it’s reassuring that the manager takes the order and the food prepared separately.
I was out shopping in Wigan,so I decided to pop into Nando's Wigan. It's the very first time I've ever been to a Nando.nUpon arrival, the staff were very welcoming and directed us to a nice table. The service from the staff was excellent there are all very polite and friendly young ladies.nRegarding the food, it was better than I expected, although I thought my chicken burger was a little small for the cost of £9.75 it was tasty, though. Overall the food and service were very good and a nice relaxed atmosphere within the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend this Nando pop in if you fancy some chicken .
Can't fault the service, both times I've been sat down as soon as I've come in.nmenu items are hit and miss, really like the fino pitta, chips are alright... The new cheesy pitta triangle things are nice.nIt's worth trying new things, see what is tasty, it's trial and error really.nIt's a little bit cramped with the seating but I get it's a busy restaurant chain so they try to get a lot of tables and chairs in
I was so hungry and thought of a visit to Nandos in Leigh on new year's evening.nIt was very busy in Nandos,and the food never took long to arrive though we had to order it online ourselves.nThe arrival of the food was not pleasant as the food was getting cold already.nMy chicken butterfly and chips are cold and I cannot take it back since I was very hungry.nMoreso, I am not impressed with the self-service approach as I expected orders to be taken.nHowever, I was pleased with the warm atmosphere,spacious car parks and prompt delivery of the food.nI will be visiting again after the festive period to make my final judgment on whether food was always cold before being served.nI would also suggest that sweet chili sauce be introduced as there were too many sour sauce on the sauce table.
Amazing food. The service could do with some remedial restaurant training. They brought out our starters with our mains, even though we clearly stated we wanted them prior to our mains. I understand the place is staffed by young people, however instead of sitting and talking amongst themselves, they may want to check the table and see if everything is ok at least once during the meal. One would think for the price, one would get the service as well.
