Food quality is great, quantity is under question I ordered the double leg meal. Legs were small. If it wasn’t lunch i guess I would have to order some more food The place is great decor and atmosphere wise. The staff are awesome, very helpful and friendly. Food came out perfect and didn’t take long. I tried Nandos in many cities and they have good standards and quality. Prices are little bit over. For a lunch for two with 5 wings plate as an appetizer and two meals with 2 sides each and a drink will cost 50$ something.
I discovered this incredible tasty restaurant with my wife. We were looking for a place to eat lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to go to Masonville, then we saw Nandos and went in to see the menu. They have great assortment of grilled-chicken dishes. But to be honest the first thing that caught my eyes was their unique colourful-Afro decoration style. Second, the variety of tasty-hot sauces available, I just love spicy and hot food! Third, the chicken sandwich accompanied with chippers was another delicious surprise. If you order a combo plate, you can have free-refilled soft drinks. On the flip-side, the service is not the best, it was quite desynchronized and slow. Other, than that if you want an original hot grilled-chicken experience, this place is for you.
I really wanted to love this place as it was my first time visiting. The service was excellent and the chicken was tasty. The coleslaw was great too! The real let down was the portion size or value for money. With a small tip the miniscule single leg with 2 sides was over $16. The rice was crunchy as if it was sitting too long and dried out again or undercooked. Great location, decent decor and vibe in the restaurant but as soon as I saw the quantity of food I actually felt embarrassed at myself for spending $16 on dinner for 1.
I LOVE NANDO'S. I really mean it when I say that. I just love the whole vibe of the place and the food is great. For the price, the portion sizes are great. The place is well maintained. The staff almost always come up and checks up on you. I usually order the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes for myself. But when I go with a few people we get the shareable platters which is amazing for its price. Would 10/10 recommend trying their garlic bread. The concept of the ordering system is quite different from your normal restaurant but not too hard to follow.
Description- well decorated Afro Portugese vibe with familiar food options and a surprisingly high amount of vegetarian options.. Food- 5 stars if it were just food alone. I really liked this portobello wrap, it's very filling and satisfying. I got the "hot" on the chart, I'd say it was accurate if not a little on the medium side. I had some of a friend's Cajun fries, and they are now my favorite place for Cajun fries as they're not over or under flavoured. Service- Honestly poor, seems like they don't take their job seriously at all. Lady was actually on her phone at the very front so I don't think they were trained properly. Recommendation- if customer service doesn't matter that much to you, check it out. If that really impacts how you feel while eating good food, I'd avoid it
Had an awesome meal! So happy a friend recommended I check this place out! It's a great spot to appease every taste- you're flavour adventurous friends have amazing options but there's still lots on the menu for people wanting a more mild taste! Quick, excellent atmosphere, even better food.
Love love love the interior! The chicken is just as glorious as it’s made to be. The portion is really good, ambience is vibrant. The side order of mashed potato was one of the best I had in a long time. Can’t wait to visit again!
Went in to order pickup, never thought about checking it, but when we drove 30 mins and got home, the chicken is actually black burnt and bitter. Disappointed and wordless.
Been there more than 5 times already, food and service are improving. Lovely decoration but small limited seating area.
Just picked up salads from Nandos and it’s the most pathetic sad looking over priced salads I have ever purchased. Their “quinoa” salad has barely any quinoa in it. I subbed feta for cheddar cheese for an additional 2$ and got home with no cheese in the salad. The chicken breast added to the quinoa salad was a ridiculous 6$. So the already pathetic salad came to a whooping 20$. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time here.
