Amazing food, best red Thai curry I think I've ever had, including in Thailand. Pad Thai was also amazing. Mixed appetisers also brilliant. Don't be put off by the fact that it's upstairs! Setting is well presented and well cared for. Judging a food place by the toilets is always a good idea- these were spotless. We went on an issue Tuesday night whilst on holiday in the area, and it was quite busy even at 6pm. It lost a star as the service didn't hit the spot- slow at every point and we had a few problems getting the actual dishes we ordered. However the did is so good that I wouldn't let the service put you off- just about every food business I know is struggling for staff at the moment! Very nice food, and my order was ready for collection when I arrived. I definitely will be returning. The restaurant itself looked very nice as well.

Having visited The Nadon several years ago and found it to be authentic in all aspects with good food and prices we revisited recently. Unfortunately it is neither good nor bad just ordinary which made it expensive. The interior is looking tired and worn at the edges with very little atmosphere, the service was polite and friendly throughout with the servers well presented in traditional Thai dress which was a nice touch. Our food was served hot and fresh but unfortunately bland and no better than a standard Chinese takeaway would supply so that was very disappointing. This could not be put down to the restaurant being busy as we ate at 6pm with only 3 tables occupied. For the price £60+ not a place we will revisit.

Outstanding Thai food! Can strongly recommend the Red Curry dish. Flavorful, spicy, tasty - perfect for a cold day. So far, best meal I've had in Morpeth in 10 days. I ordered this next time, the Thai Basil Stir Fry. Again, the performance was great. Nice flavours , SPICY , and lots of veggies . All for a very affordable price.
Great little restaurant. We didn't book but we still got in, even though they were quite busy. Staff were very polite and the food was served promptly. Food was of a very good standard. Nice sized portions and freshly cooked. We would go again if we were local!
Called in here on our way from Seahouses to Blyth. Nice clean, modern interior. Food was quite good and staff were pleasant. Portions were sufficient and food was tasty and well cooked. The spring rolls were nice and crispy, not full of oil and soggy like some we have had. My wife is Thai and likes her food very spicy, she was not disappointed, we only like going to Thai restaurants with Thai staff because they know how the food should be cooked and presented, Nadon Thai ticked all the boxes. Don't let the entrance and stair case put you off, once you are upstairs everything is clean and fresh.
Really great Thai restaurant. Always friendly and very welcoming. Gets busy at peak times so bookings are a good idea although lunch is usually okay. Been visiting for many years and the quality is always high. It is a little tucked away and up a flight of stairs. I have an awkward food allergy and they have always been great at recommendations and working around it for me. the dishes pictured are the Ginger Delight and the Pad Thai
We discovered this restaurant three weeks ago and have been twice during that time. Absolutely delicious food, fresh and flavoursome. The service is friendly and efficient, the decor is appealing. Outstanding value for money and hope to return soon.
