Lovely butchers filled with local products, The customer service is friendly and a great variety of local meats in-stock. The pricing seems in most parts cheaper than the supermarkets. You can get cuts here that the supermarkets won't sell. The wife loves the marmite sausages.. This is going to be a regular shop to visit from us......
Dropped in today for a boned leg of lamb and a couple of sausage rolls. Great butchery - swift and well-organised with a huge selection of produce

Our butcher for 30 years, we have always been delighted by the quality, provenance and value. Best home cured & smoked bacon and ham in Hampshire. We just had a leg of lamb, so tasty, so tender. And the black pudding! The sausages! The service!!!
Very professional and an amazing selection of meats and cheeses. The pasties are to die for just under £3 and fill half a plate and are packed with flavour, I've even converted a few people in the office and I took some back to Ireland with me for my folks to try : Also tried the frozen tuna steaks which were fresh and full of flavour.
Good staff and very fresh meat . We gone to buy beef but we returned with two bags full of fresh beef & pork and few other stuffs from them. Will recommend to our friends for sure.

I was informed that you had lost your chef and also the “small pies would in future be smaller but cheaper. The new size pies are fine and will probably get the thumbs up from the majority of your customers. However the steak and ales pies get a big thumbs down. The meat although still lean is chewy whereas it used to melt in the mouth. The ale is now overpowering. Will give it some weeks before buying again in the hope that matters improve.
Very friendly helpful staff great selection of meat and deli. Their ready made pies are very good value and excellent. Also sell local cakes and eggs. Well worth visiting.
