We had our wedding here in May and it was just perfect! The owner Henry and his family and team made the whole process of organising a wedding easy and calm from the get go! The castle and grounds are stunning and so many places to walk around & get wedding photos! In May we had the beautiful irises! We were so well looked after the whole weekend with a glorious meal on the Friday night before the wedding prepared by the castle team with Prosecco on the lawn after! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped our wedding run perfectly! Would recommend this beautiful venue to everyone!
Incredible venue. I was a wedding guest and was lucky to stay at Myres castle.nnIt was straight forward to find and get to.nnAs a place to stay and get to know and appreciate my in laws it was sensational. High standards are the norm. Henry was an amazing host; always friendly and helpful.nnQuite simply you will not be disappointed!nnA wonderful venue. That made a special time, magical. We all loved it.
I stayed in the gate house of the castle for a few nights and it was amazing. Really great house and a perfect location. The grounds of the castle are stunning with lovely gardens and a maze. There is also a woodland walk around the grounds which is about a mile long. There are highland cows in a field in the grounds which are lovely and you can even see some hippos in the curling pond
What can we say about Myres Castle, Henry and his fabulous team. Firstly the venue is beautiful. You can not ask for more picturesque gardens which are meticulously cared for and stunning spaces your guests will love. The castle has such a homely feeling, with multiple different rooms to fit all types and amazing bathtubs! You will be so glad to have your nearest and dearest all in the one place to celebrate and it makes it even more magically. The ceremony spaces are out of this world and so special, words can't do them justice. Henry and his team will take great care of you, no request was too much, everything is catered for and all things thought ahead, they certainly know how to do a wedding! We could not imagine getting married at another place, particularly with COVID restrictions, and wouldn't change a thing.
We had our wedding at Myres on July 13, 2019 and stayed in the castle the entire weekend. From check-in to check-out we experienced nothing less than impeccable service. Henry was incredibly attentive, the venue is absolutely stunning, the rooms where our family stayed were each unique and original historic design, and we also lucked out on the weather being amazing. I can't recommend this venue enough. The pictures speak for themselves of how happy we were and Henry and his team made everything seem effortless. The natural beauty of the venue is what attracted us to it and waking up the morning after with our entire family made it feel like Christmas Day. Thank you to everyone involved with our wedding! It was a blast!
