Absolutely brilliant food and outstanding service!! Thank you so much to the two lovely gentlemen who served us today, we had a good time there, bless you both. First time trying Turkish food and we’re definitely in love! Ordered a lamb and chicken dish with some breads, we love the use of yogurt, it’s making the cuisine unique and nutritious. We can’t quite remember the name so feel free to refer to the photos I took. Drinks also quite nice and reasonable price. The desert is an absolute treat to us, perfect way to finish the meal. It’s a must-try if you’re visiting this area. Five stars!!
Been here so many times and always treated well. The food is amazing and now my wife has found an amazing Turkish white wine to go with is an added bonus. I would highly recommend if you want to have that feeling of eating abroad in the sunshine then this is a must!!! Excellent lunch, we both choose from the main menu which was superb. Very well cooked and generous portions. Only slight criticism is that the gent toilet is a bit tatty and dated. Also the front outside seating area needs to have the plants renewed, but it isnautumn/winter so no big deal.nThis was our first time and will definitely NOT be our last, can't wait to go back to have some more of that delicious food!
Our first visit to Myra's today. We enjoyed a lovely family meal out. We had a 2pm booking. Parking was available just across the road and make sure you pay for it. This can be paid for at the machine with coins or on the app with your phone. We had the restaurant to ourselves and it was very nice. The team was very happy and available to serve and answer any questions we may have had. The restaurant looked very nice, clean and very approachable. We enjoyed lamb shanks, lamb shish, chicken shish with yogurt and a hot sharing plate for starters. There wasn't any pressure to rush or to over spend. Just a lovely, pleasant, well deserved meal out. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.
We’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened — with family, friends, or sometimes just the two of us for a quick lunch, since it’s only a 5-minute walk from home. The food has always been good, the service friendly, and the décor lovely. We especially liked being able to see the open kitchen and the chefs at work.nThat said, our last visit about two weeks ago, on a Friday was really disappointing and has sadly changed our opinion of the place.nWe came in for lunch, were seated quickly, and got our food without delay since the restaurant wasn’t busy. However, after just a few bites, my partner found a short grey hair in her food. For context, I have a shaved head and my partner has long brown hair — so it definitely wasn’t ours. We let the waiter know, and he apologized and offered to replace her chips.nA bit put off but trying to stay positive, we continued our meal. Then I found a hair in my own food as well. This time, another waiter — one we’ve seen working there often — came over. When I showed him the hair, he brushed it off as if it were nothing. I mentioned that the chef should be more careful, but his response was dismissive, even rude. He claimed the chef didn’t have grey hair, though it was clear another chef in the open kitchen did.nThere was no apology, no offer to replace my dish, and honestly, no sense of care at all. When the bill came, the same waiter said nothing — no apology, no goodwill gesture, not even a small discount.nWe used to love this restaurant and recommended it to many friends, but after this experience, we won’t be going back. It’s such a shame because the food and atmosphere were always great, but the way this was handled left a really bad impression.
