Looking forward to a take-away this evening and not having to spend time in the kitchen. Decided to try Yiannos again, the memory of my last visit there having somehow unexplicably faded. However, this visit was again found to be seriously wanting in a different way. Ordered fish, chips and mushy peas x2 and large sausage and chips after queuing for a short time, which provided me with some optimism…..only to then wait for 42 minutes for the take—away…. Had to ask at the counter what was going on with my order only to be responded to in a mumbled reply that my order must have “dropped off their counter screen”. This was after watching all customers arriving after me and leaving within 10 minutes or so with their order. Really feel I should have asked for a refund and gone home and prepared a meal myself. Food was poor quality and luke warm. Never again!
Had ok food in the past but last night’s was horrible. Curry sauce was rank and we both had an aftertaste of grease for house. Not sure what has changed but we won’t be back
Absolutely vile... the best kebab in north wales?? Really, it tastes almost boiled its beyond soggy and for the price it not even near a edible how cam you charge that amount for dog good like this! Really not impressed at all and will never ever return we went hungry tonight as was expecting atleast good food for a supposed award winning chippy. Will be getting hold of Just Eat for my money back just disgusting!!!
Ordered food online and time to collect was 6pm went in just before told them we were there to pick our food up. Told us they would just be getting it ready which we said okay because it was busy, stood outside for 40 minutes while at least 30 people came and got their food before us. Went in again and they hadn't even started getting it ready then we could see the lads talking about us while we were waiting. So not best pleased
Ordered food, waited 20 minutes for it to be ready. Got home to see there was a item missing from my order… don’t know how this place won best kebab myself as the doner meat was vile. Would not recommend at all! Won’t be returning.
Edible just about is the nicest thing I can say. Not sure how or why this place won best kebab in Wales. After arriving at the collection time stated I then had to queue for 10 minutes only to be told they hadn't started it yet so another 15 minutes I waited. This allowed me to see my food being prepared. The chicken shavings, I refuse to call it gyros as advertised as that's just disrespectful to actual gyros, were taken out of the fridge in a plastic container and put in to the microwave to warm up. These warmed up chicken shavings were then chucked in to an asda smart price tortilla, not pitta, with a load of salad and some strange mint and yoghurt sauce as they had no tzatziki. Quite the opposite to authentic. The kids meal was a small 45% pork sausage on half a kilo of chips in a happy meal esque cardboard box. When it came to eating the chicken shavings at home the wrap was soggy because of the water from the salad and the chicken shavings were flavourless. I would strongly advise the Best Kebab in Wales Board to reconsider. I will not be returning. Ewloe kebab house is far superior and with PROPER gyros.
Usually lovely, last time was just warm, ordered today via Flintshire eats no review option on there and the fish was well over cooked! The batter was that hard I couldn’t get my fork through and the fish when I eventually got to it was dry and inedible!! Disappointing
Pretty pricey, but the food was good. I had the zinger burger meal and it was lovely
Food from here is always absolutely gorgeous. Super quick delivery. Definitely our favourite takeaway.
Good food, nice chips. Home delivery service sometimes unavailable though. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces nearby.
