Dentist barely speaks directly at you just taps away at the computer. Takes a quick look in mouth and charges an arm and leg for the privilege. I'm paying for a private service I expect to be treated with a bit of politeness and a nicer bedside manner.  What I'd give to find my old dentist who worked here before it changed to this company.

I don’t normally write reviews this way but this dental practise is just dreadful, rude and have a major lack of responsibility, it might therefore be the same for other dental practises that follow the company of {my}dentist but that stays unknown. First of all, they delay your appointments every time and sometimes delay it on the day that you have your appointment, having it being 30 minutes or 1 hour before your slot without a reasonable answer. Secondly, they book another appointment for you to come in 3 weeks time but when you arrive they say that they need to cancel your appointment with no reason as to why and decide to cancel your booking at the very last minute. What kind of dentist is this? Finally, when you want to talk to the manager or head receptionist there, they say to book you another appointment later on but it never seems to happen; this is definitely on purpose, when there is an appointment and you’ve arrived, they charge you money for not appearing but you were literally there. Disrespectful receptionists being rude to patients on the phone and face to face especially the head receptionist as you truly try and understand why they keep delaying your appointments every time. I do not recommend this dental practice in Chichester, the poorest ever!

We have been with this practice for many years as nhs patients and have been extremely happy with the dentists and service. However when “my dentist” took them over we were forced to go private. Then, after a year or so they started offering nhs services again so being on a limited income we switched back. Now the sole nhs dentist has reduced her hours to one day per week and our appointments keep getting cancelled. My wife’s had to be rescheduled for 7 months time and who knows if that will be cancelled. I get the impression they are trying to force us back to private again! Very disappointing service. If we could find another nhs practice, we would leave.  **Edit. 11/8/22. My October 2022 appointment has been cancelled and they cannot give me a new date, sometime next year apparently. Yet, passing the premises a few days ago there was a board outside advertising ‘appointments available today!’ Something is not right……..

Have just had my appointment cancelled again . Seriously thinking of going private but certainly not with this practice. I have no complaints about the staff but why employ a NHS dentist who then decides not to fulfil their contract.

Absolutely disgusting practice! Removed myself and family from their list with no notice at all because "we hadn't been during the pandemic" we were shielding and had been seen regularly beforehand + they wouldn't accept routine appointments into 2020 and 2021!. Do not trust these people with your health!  Update - having complained to head office and then being told that they had reconsidered and would offer to see the children as NHS patients after all - I was called by the practice manager who spent 10 minutes; speaking over me, referring to my Google review history and behaving completely unprofessionally trying to blackmail me not to accept the appointments they had changed their mind about!  Further update - The saga continued with appointments being rebooked without calling first and whilst on holiday - then followed up with a threatening text from the practice manager. Thankfully I have now found a wonderful local dentist with respectful receptionists and a fantastic practice manager who I can tell already cares deeply about the customer experience. They are out there, but you won't find them here.

The private dentist I saw was nice, although no treatment done. The receptionist was rude though, and was extremely off putting

I've been using My Dentist on NHS for years, but decided to go for the private plan as there was some work I wanted completing on my teeth sooner rather than later.  This included a polish, thorough checkup, decay removal, and replacement fillings. Dr Bacon was friendly, thorough and informative on what I need to do to protect my pearly whites for a lifetime.  His assistant, Shelley, was lovely too and allowed me time to take the time I needed to relax my jaw after treatment and take a breather.

I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years, thankfully I had an appointment with Dr Bacon, who was very professional and made me feel at ease. He gave me some great advice and I didn't hesitate to book another appointment with him. Highly recommend.

Awful dental practice. Paid for treatments prior to Covid that I still haven't received. Have now been stuck off the NHS register because I haven't been for 2 years, despite Government lock down, restrictions and department of health advice that dental visits were for emergency only and not routine treatments and check ups. They have done the same to my wife.They also tried to refuse to see my children and said I would need to pay for them despite both being under 16. Never saw the same dentist as the staff kept leaving. Had a consultation rudely interuppted by dentists wife, reception staff just shrugged. Avoid at all costs. Worst dentist imaginable

Head receptionist named Debbie is extremely rude and basically said that my nervous child is wasting NHS time! Told me the wrong information regarding antibiotics awful telephone manner! I am unable to get a emergency appointment for my child she has been in agony for two weeks I have just been told there is nothing they can do for her and we just have to wait! So far not impressed!
